What's on my Desktop???

And for another installment of WOMD, I'm going to the "little laptop."
This is the laptop that the little kids mostly use.
This is where you see true weirdness.

...And there's that dog in the Santa hat again. He somehow must've been important enough to make an appearance on both desktops. :P

Ok, this one was me. XD

A picture of Easter from forever ago. I'm kind of dressed like a Kindergarten teacher...  :P

My friend Foster's little sister from a few years ago
Kianna in the bath tub. This was back when she liked baths...

My mommy. :) I think she was about 5 months pregnant with Kianna in this one.

This one seems to be an evil bunny who can reproduce via mitosis...  I've never known fear like this...

Oh, the wonderfully disturbing things you can do with Mac Photo Booth.

Since you can't eat virtual cakes, my sisters feel the need to take screenshots of them instead.

Unless they're jellybeans.

My Neighbor Totoro! :D

Yet another weird Photo Booth picture. I think those are her arms...?

My sisters really like Studio Ghibli movies. XP

This bunny looks harmless enough, but in case she's associated with evil amoeba bunny, I'd be careful...
Also, what's in that giant egg? O_O

Life In Letters 3

Dear Pinterest,

You make me feel crafty when I've hardly lifted a glue gun, like an athlete when I can hardly jog for one minute, and like an inspiration although hardly anything eloquent comes out of my mouth. Also, I never realized there were that many uses for glow sticks. They seem to have so much... purpose now.
~Kay

Dear Fast Food Restaurants,

Why must you always give your menu items dorky names? Do you think it sounds creative, or do you like to just hear us suffer as we try to say "I'd like the huckleberry hullaballoo" and have you take us seriously?
"Can I have a... urm... sundae?"
"Sure, what kind?"
"A... um... a cutiepatootiesundae?"
"Sorry, you'll need to speak up."
"I WANT A CUTIE PATOOTIE SUNDAE!" *huffs* Don't judge me.

Your frustrated customer,
~Kay

Dear Whoever it was who Designed Graduation Caps,

It's a square. With a tassel on it. That attaches to your head. Really?
~Kay

Dear Dancing Little Caesar's Guy,

Your grueling job of dancing around in the hot sun and smelling your own skin baking to medium rare in an embarrassing costume is not in vain. Sometimes all it takes to brighten someone's day is to see some random dancing person on the side of the street.
You're simply awesome. Also, you've got some nice moves.
~Kay

Dear Shoes,

Thanks for protecting my feet from random icky things on the ground, and for looking so darn cute while doing it.

Hallways, Driving, and Scattered Thoughts

Well hello there...

Ok, just felt the need to creep you all out. ;)

So I am in a very frustrating phase of my life right now. It's the "Hallway" phase.
Maybe you've seen this picture circulating around the interwebs:

I narcissistically think it might've been written for me. XP

Because most days I feel like this:

But instead of "Praising God in the hallway," I wind up maniacally running around and pounding on all the doors. Because transition phases are rough. It's like reliving your awkward years, minus the braces and frizzy hair.

But if God calls us to praise Him in good times and the bad times, then that probably includes the mediocre times, too.

And at the same time, I've been so busy. I've been working on getting my driver's license (which has been a 2 year endeavor...) :P So I've been doing a lot of driving. I haven't killed anything yet (although I almost killed a street light once... perhaps I'll be writing a Memory Monday on that one?)  So I'd say that's a good sign.

This post is just meant to be a slightly random reminder that I'm still here, and I have a *ton* of catching up to do about last summer before I start writing about how amazingly awesome fall is. Every time I sit down and try to write a blog post that isn't a maze of tangents and tomfoolery, I get a little A.D.D. Just trying to make summer last longer... :D

Tomfoolery is an awesome word.

And hey! This week is the HSBA Post Blog Nominations. You'd be my new best friend if you voted for me in the Teen category...

(Sorry, couldn't resist).
Anyway, all you need to do is click here, scroll down to "Best Teen Homeschool Blog," and put my blog name in the first box and the url to my blog (http://www.whateverrblog.blogspot.com) in the second one. If you can get other people to vote for me too, (friends, family, family friends, pets, rodents, that spider on your back porch...) that'd be awesome, too. :) Love you guys!

Psychobabble

This post has no direction whatsoever. Why? Because I need to write more, but I'm out of brilliant ideas and all that's left are random musings about infomercials and baby hippos.

As I was drifting off to sleep last night, I thought I'd write a post on why llamas are cooler than alpacas. Then I woke up and realized I thought that. Then it didn't sound so amazing. But I leave you with this: Sure, llamas are ugly, but alpacas are that kind of cute that is simultaneously creepy enough to write a Tim Burton movie about.

I got a camera for my birthday a few months ago in hopes that it would be easier to use a more compact little point and shoot camera for my blog posts. Then I lost it. >_< So I won't have any amazing selfies to post. (I'm probably doing you all a favor... who likes to look at other people's selfies?!)
Just kidding, I never take selfies. :P hehe

My church does an annual bike ride for Father's Day, and I'm totally excited! It sort of has me thinking about getting in shape, though. I mean, occasionally I do some lifting (somehow that fork has to get to my mouth), but I rarely exercise. So I got some awesome Nikes with neon pink laces! The fact that I spent like, $60 in graduation money should be motivation enough to put them to use. :P I think I'm going to try running. If you see any posts after this that aren't written like "jfhesklhgjkrdhgfkvrdhbkdrl," you can assume that I'm still alive and mentally stable.

I saw Snow White and the Huntsman last night. It was cool, creepy, and really weird at the same time. haha I liked it. I might write more about it in a separate post. :)

Life is hard, but God is good. I'm so glad that I can go to Him when I'm having a hard time. Sometimes I can be so ridiculously dramatic that I just go, "Nope. I don't need to pray. I'll just feel pathetic a little longer." It's almost like rotting your teeth drinking syrupy soda all the time, then switching back to water and remembering how good water is. XD

Now I'm thirsty. :P

Anyway... yeah. I think that's all the random topics I can scrape out of my brain right now.

The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma...

Today has been hectic. I've had a million things to think about, stress over, and study for. At this point I feel totally burnt-out and brain dead. So... I thought it was a good time to take my brain of its leash and let it roam around a little.

The first thing that came to mind when I tried to think of something random was custard. Oh, man, that sounds good right now... especially if it's nice and cold. This is odd, because I didn't really think I liked custard...

I think I have a zit on my eyelid. How is that even possible? Who gets a zit... on their eyelid...? :O

I have watched the Nutcracker an insane amount of times this winter. Ever since some of my sisters were in their Nutcracker dance recital before Christmas, Katie (who's 3) has been thinking of nothing else. She's had visions of sugarplum fairies dancing in her head for far too long! Although, it is kind of cute how excited she gets over it...

We just got a new couch. It looks so... clean... compared to our old one.

My room's beginning to look like we let a rabid chimpanzee out of its cage to wreak havoc on its surroundings.

I'm wearing red skinny jeans. (DON'T JUDGE ME!) lol :P

Sometimes I think in quotes from Spongebob. (The title is proof of this)

I totally want to go in one of those wind-tunnel thingies that make you fly.

Fake cheese is soooo good.

I love my stuffed monkey from build-a-bear (Her name is Mrs. Lunky Monkey. Kenz... if you read this... do you still have Mr. Chunky Monkey???)

My finger hurts.

I think I'm going to get in trouble for not eating my broccoli. (Broccoli=EVIL)

Puppets scare me.

My feet are cold.

Ooh, I got a notification on Facebook.

My eyebrow itches.

If I don't sound crazy to people by now, then maybe everyone else is a little crazy as well. We should, like, get together and have an "insanity party" and run around like idiots. Get everyone to join in the madness!!!

Anyone else think llamas are hilarious?

Josh, if you're reading this... I'm tired. Can you tell? ;)

I need chapstick.

I'm hungry.

This post is rather entertaining to write but probably a pain in the neck to read.

Maybe I should get back to studying now. I'm think I'm scaring people. :P
